- First wash soaked black chana properly.Then boil these chana into sufficient water with some salt in cooker. Cook until they becomes soft. Keep them aside with water.
- Now in a kadai / pan take mustard oil,heat it for 2 minutes.Now add cumin seeds,dry red chilli and coriander seeds and chopped redish.Cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add rice flour,walnut powder,turmeric powder and red chilli powder.cook for 1 minute.then add spinach paste and cook until oil starts saprates.
- Now add boiled black chana with water. And cook for about 7-8 minutes. Now add dry mango powder. Mix well. Add salt as per taste.sprinkle garam masala powder and mix well. Kale chane ka khatta (mahani) is ready. Serve hot with rice or roti.
