Here is a simple side-dish made with radish along with its greens. It is a quick, tasty and healthy side dish with rice or roti. Radish was one of the most hated vegetable of mine before marriage. Steps to make Radish gravy:
  1. Take a pressure cooker add oil and when it gets hot add 1 spoon fennel and 1 spoon jeera and let it splutter.
  2. Add onions and 2 green chillies and saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add 2 spoons ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off
  4. Now add tomatoes and rock salt and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add chopped radish and saute for 1 minute.
  6. Add the ingredients in masala and saute for 30 seconds
  7. Add 1 cup water and mix the masala and when it boils put the lid on the pressure cooker and give 2 whistles and simmer for 1 minute.
  8. Open the pressure cooker when the pressure goes off and switch on the stove and add the cashew poppy seed paste and boil till gravy thickens.
  9. Add 1 spoon sugar (optional).
  10. Switch off the stove once it thickens and garnish and serve with coriander leaves.
