  13. In a mixer jar add all the ingredients given for grinding. Add water little by little and grind it to a smooth paste.

  15. Heat mustard oil in a kadai.
  16. Add cumin seeds and dry red chilli and let it sizzle for a min.
  17. Add smooth tomato paste.
  18. Cook it on slow till the raw smell of tomatoes are gone and all the water evaporates.
  19. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, cumin seed powder, chaat masala powder, chana masala powder and garam masala powder. Mix well.
  20. Add little water from the boiled chana and mix well.
  21. Add imli paste and mix well.
  22. Again add little water and mix.
  23. Now add boiled chana and mix well.
  24. Add chana water as required to make the gravy.
  25. Cook it on high for few mins.
  26. Switch off the flame.
  27. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  28. Serve hot with wheat bhatura.
