  1. Prepare 1 cup Rice flour
  2. Make ready 1 cup water
  3. Get Pinch salt
  4. Take 1 tsp ghee
  5. Make ready Stuffing
  6. Prepare 3/4 cup chopped almonds, cashew, raisins (dry fruits)
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup khoya
  8. Make ready 1/2 cup grated coconut
  9. Make ready 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  10. Prepare 1/2 cup chopped Dates
  11. Prepare 1 tsp ghee
Steps to make #Modak|Dates|Dry fruits:
  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped dry fruits & roast well.
  2. Add poppy seeds, khoya & grated coconut & mix well. Mash khoya and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Stuffing is ready.
  4. Next make rice flour dough by heating water with salt and ghee.
  5. In this boiling water add rice flour & mix well. Break lumps. & let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Make a dough & divide into small balls & flaten the ball making a dent. Fill with the stuffing.
  7. Make all modaks like this & place them into the steamer.
  8. Steam cook modaks for 10 minutes. & they are ready. 😊
