Steps to make Eggless Donut:
  1. Churn sugar in a mixer to make powder and keep a side.Seprate 1/2 cup maida and keep a side.
  2. The butter should cold and hard.Cut in small pieces.
  3. Mix milk and vanilla essence in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds
  4. In a mixing bowl mix together 1-1/2 cup maida,corn flour,yeast,salt and sugar powder.Make a well in centre and pour the warm milk and mix together. It will become a big lumpy mass.
  5. Add butter and mix well due to warmth of milk it will easily mix.
  6. The dough will be sticky at this stage add remaining 1/2 cup maida and knead well for few minutes and place the dough in a greased bowl covered for one hour till it doubles in volumes.
  7. After one hour punch the dough and dust the work area with maida and using a rolling pin roll the dough into 1/2 inch thick circle like chapati.
  8. Using a donut cutter or any round shape cutter cut in small circle then make a hole in middle with help of any small cap. Collect all left edges once again and roll them and continue till the dough last.
  9. Transfer the cut donuts into a greased tray and arrange them side by side by leaving enough space in between.Cover with a thick cloth and let it rest for another 20 minutes.
  10. Preheat oven at 200 deg C and bake for 10 minutes or till golden brown.Take it out brush melted butter over the donuts and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  11. After you place donuts in over in between make chocolate glaze.
  12. In a bowl mix all ingredients of glaze and microwave for 1 minute or it melts and mix well.
  13. Now holding your donuts upside down dip the surface in glaze and pull it up.Let the extra sauce dribble and place the donut in a plate for the harden glaze.Place coloured sprinkles or silver balls on the glaze and serve or you can store in air tight container.
