Rajma masala was one of my favorite dishes growing up. Made with red kidney beans, tomatoes and a blend of warm spices like ginger, garlic, cumin and garam masala - it's comforting, delicious and the perfect one-pot meal. Steps to make Rajma spicey and delicious:
- Firstly take a kidney beans wash and strain it.
- Now in a cooker put kidney beans as needed water, bayleaf, 3 green cardamom, cinnamon stick, pinch of baking soda now pressure cook up to 5 whistles then turn on the slow heat and cook for 30 min.
- Now reduce the flame let's cool completely then check cooked properly or not
- Transfer in a bowl keep it aside.
- Now heat the cooker with mustard oil then add cumin, green cardamom, black cardamom cloves, stir and tempered it now add chopped onion saute it becomes translucent
- Now add all given spices and tomatoes, pinch of salt mix it properly on lower flame.
- When spices separates till oil then add cooked rajma mix it nicely.
- Again cover and cook for 1o min now last sprinkl meat masala and garnish with chopped coriander leaves mix it nicely with spatula.
- Now serving time garnishing with some fresh creem and ready to serve it ππ.
