- Mix well all the three batter. Now grease the plate for steaming. Add one layer of green batter vertically.. besides it add white batter layer and lastly yellow batter layer and steam it for 10 mins. If you wish you may also make three layered Dhoklas. For that pour green layer steam it for 5 mins upon that pour yellow layer steam it for 5 mins and then pour the white layer and steam for 10 to 15 mins. Insert knife and check if it comes out clean..Dhoklas are cooked..
- Allow it to cool. Now take heart shape cookie cutter cut the dhoklas. You may cut in any shape of your choice.
- For tempering heat oil in pan add mustard seeds, cumin and sesame.. Once it crackles add asafoetida, curry leaves, chopped onion, green chillies, green and red bell peppers, boiled corn kernels and salt. Add the heart shaped Dhoklas and Saute for 1 min.
- Serve it with any dip of your choice. I have served with coriander Chutney. Just grind coriander leaves..2 to 3 green chillies..1/4 inch ginger piece and 2 to 3 garlic cloves… Then add salt and 1 t spoon lemon juice… chutney is ready.
