I have cooked everything in a pressure cooker. Once the pulao is cooked serve it hot. Add, salt, red chilli powder and garam masala and cook on low flame.Add peas and beans and fd Cover the lid and cook for 7 minutes or till beans are soft.
  4. Now add cooked rice and mix it well in this vegetable. Add 2 tb sp water and cook on low flame for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
  5. Now in another mixing bowl add curd. Beat well and add boondi and make a Raita. Serve it with pulav garnished with black pepper, roasted cumin seeds powder, black pepper and red chilli powder.

I use peas, beans and carrots most of the times. You can also use potatoes and a handful of split I think I messed up the javithri proportion. I read one strand as one flower and the entire pulav turned.
