Steps to make Ivy gourd pepper fry:

  3. For the spicy masala powder: To a hot pan add curry leaves, Cumin seeds, Peppercorns and dry roast them for few minutes. Transfer everything into the mixer jar and grind. Once it's 80% grinded add a tsp of coriander powder and grind it to a fine powder. Powdered masala is ready.
  4. Heat up the same pan,add oil,Chopped onions, garlic and saute it until they turn golden brown in color.
  5. Then add chilli powder and let it saute until the raw smell goes away.
  6. Now transfer the sliced Ivy gourds into it and mix well. Cover cook for 10 mins or until 50% cooked.
  7. After 10 minutes, add required salt and mix well. Cover cook for 5 minutes or until 90% cooked.
  8. Now add the powdered masala into it/ give it a good mix. And let it cook for few more minutes.
  9. Once Ivy gourds has cooked completely give everything a final mix and switch off the flame.
