  1. Slice onions, tomato, green chilli, curry leaves
  2. Wash and soak rice for 30 mins
  3. Take a pan and keep it on the stove. Once the pan heats add oil, once the oil heats add cumin seeds, add cloves, elachi, cinnamonum stick, bay leaf, salute it for few seconds in low flame, add green chilli, curry leaves, onions,ginger garlic paste. once the onion becomes brown add tomatoes. Add salt and turmeric. Close it with a lid. Keep the stove in low flame. Mix in between, add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder.
  4. Then add soaked rice, add water. Pressure Cook for 3 whistles.
  5. Once the pressure goes take it into a bowl and serve hot.

This Pulav is an intensely frangrant rice, cooked. Tomato Pulao is a favorite at home and since I wanted to make some party dish, this naturally came to mind. I made this for Sunday lunch and none could recognize that it was completely made in. Chop onion, tomatoes and green chilli finely. Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion, saute well.
