  3. Now add cooked dal and cook to 2 to 3 minutes and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Take a bowl and add curd, 1/4 cup of water and 1tbsp gram flour. Mix it well. - Add this curd mix to kadai. Boil it on high flame while stirring continuously. Add little water.
  5. Then low the flame and cook for 5 minutes. Switch off the gas.
  6. For tempering: Heat 1 tsp ghee, then add 1/4 tsp cumin, asafetida, then add 1/4 tsp red chilli powder and pour it over the curry.
  7. Chana Dal Kadhi' is ready to be served. Serve with hot chapati.
