- Take 1 cup Chole.. chole soaked overnight ( chickpeas)

- Take 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

- Make ready 1 tbsp each chilli powder ,coriander powder
- Take 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, turmeric powder
- Make ready 1 each bay leaf , cinnamon stick
- Make ready 1/2 tbsp amchur powder , garam masala
- Make ready 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
- Take to taste salt
- Make ready 2 tbsp coriander leaves
- Prepare 3 tbsp oil
- Get as required Water
- Get 1 tea bag or 2 tbsp tea tied in a cloth
- Get 2 Black cardamom
- Get 2 green cardamom
- Prepare 3 tbsp chana masala (mdh)
- Make ready Bhautre
- Make ready 2 cup maida /all purpose flour
- Make ready 1 tbsp sugar
- Get 1 tbsp salt
- Prepare 2 tbsp oil
- Get 250 ml soda Water if required

Instructions to make Amritsari pindi chole Bhature:
- Pressure cook the chole with tea bag, salt,cinnamon stick, both cardamom for 5-6 whistle or until they are soft. Discard the spices and tea bag..drain the water and keep aside.
- In a pan heat oil. - Add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds. - add onions and ginger-garlic paste. Saute till the golden brown. - add tomato puree and saute till they start releasing oil.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder, garam masala and salt. saute for a minute.add chana masala too.
- Then add chole. Add drain water and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat.Now heat 1 spoon oil,add cumin powder,green chilli.and 1/2 chopped garlic.and put 1/2 tbsp red chilli..immediately pour this tadka on chole.garnish chole with ginger slices, coriander, and onions.
- Bhature - Combine the flour, oil, salt, sugar and mix well. - Add soda water and Knead into a soft dough.if required than add water - Apply oil and cover it with a cloth. Leave it for 5-10 min.
- Divide it into 6-8 equal portions.Roll out into an oval or round shape. - Heat oil in a pan. - Deep fry till the bhaturas puff up and both sides are slightly golden brown in colour. - Serve bhature hot with the chole, onions, pickle and lemon.
