  6. Prepare 1/2 tbsp cumin powder, turmeric powder
  7. Take 1 each bay leaf , cinnamon stick
  8. Make ready 1/2 tbsp amchur powder , garam masala
  9. Make ready 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  10. Prepare to taste salt
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  12. Prepare 3 tbsp oil
  13. Get as required Water
  14. Get 1 tea bag or 2 tbsp tea tied in a cloth
  15. Prepare 2 Black cardamom
  16. Make ready 2 green cardamom
  17. Take 3 tbsp chana masala (mdh)
  18. Get Bhautre
  19. Get 2 cup maida /all purpose flour
  20. Get 1 tbsp sugar
  21. Make ready 1 tbsp salt
  22. Take 2 tbsp oil
  23. Get 250 ml soda Water if required

Instructions to make Amritsari pindi chole Bhature:
  1. Pressure cook the chole with tea bag, salt,cinnamon stick, both cardamom for 5-6 whistle or until they are soft. Discard the spices and tea bag..drain the water and keep aside.
  2. In a pan heat oil. - Add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds. - add onions and ginger-garlic paste. Saute till the golden brown. - add tomato puree and saute till they start releasing oil.
  3. Add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder, garam masala and salt. saute for a minute.add chana masala too.
  4. Then add chole. Add drain water and mix well. Cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat.Now heat 1 spoon oil,add cumin powder,green chilli.and 1/2 chopped garlic.and put 1/2 tbsp red chilli..immediately pour this tadka on chole.garnish chole with ginger slices, coriander, and onions.
  5. Bhature - Combine the flour, oil, salt, sugar and mix well. - Add soda water and Knead into a soft dough.if required than add water - Apply oil and cover it with a cloth. Leave it for 5-10 min.
  6. Divide it into 6-8 equal portions.Roll out into an oval or round shape. - Heat oil in a pan. - Deep fry till the bhaturas puff up and both sides are slightly golden brown in colour. - Serve bhature hot with the chole, onions, pickle and lemon.
