- Fully melt butter over medium heat then pour it into a bowl
- To the butter add milk, sugar and salt and the egg then mix
- Mix well to incorporate everything together
- Add the flour, the mix once it starts to come together knead using your hands
- Let the dough rest about 15 minutes in the fridge
- After the 15 minutes remove dough from the fridge lightly flour a working surface and knead the dough 2 minutes. Form a log.
- Divide the dough into 14 equal pieces
- Roll out each piece as illustrated below atleast 10 to 12 inches long
- Bring both ends togther and twist
- Repeat steps 9 and 10 for all the other pieces
- Put some oil in a frying pan and fry the dough about 2 minutes or until you get a golden brown color
- Dry over paper towl
- In a brown bag, add the sugar and cinnamon powder and shake well to mix. Then take the donuts, whike still warm and put them in the back and give it a good shake, careful not to damage the donuts.
