- Take 2 potatoes
- Make ready 2 tbsp Mustard seeds paste
- Prepare 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- Take as needed Mustard oil
- Get 1 tbsp green chilli paste
- Prepare 1 tomato puree
- Get 1 tbsp kalonji
- Prepare to taste Salt
You can cook this in many ways. Today I made Bhindi or okra curry with mustard paste. It was perfectly tasty & palatable. You can make this for different tastes.
Steps to make Bengali shorshe dharosh/bhindi masala with mustard seeds paste:
- First wash and cut potatoes and ladyfingers in pieces,
- Heat a kadai add oil then fry ladyfingers and potatoes and put on a plate
- Now add oil in a kadai if required then add kalonji then add tomato puree and green chilli paste,salt, red chilli powder, termuric and fry until raw smell comes out
- Now add fried potatoes pieces and mix well with the masala
- Now add 2 cups of water and cook for 10 minutes.
- If potatoes are cooked well then add mustard seeds paste and little water if required then add ladyfingers and cook for 5 minutes.
- Our bhindi masala with mustard seeds are ready to serve..ππ
