Steps to make Carrot And Potato poriyal:
- Heat up a kadai and add oil into it.
- Add cumin, curry leaves. Once they start to splutter add chopped onions and green chillies. (Add a tsp pf ginger garlic paste if you like)
- Mix well and saute till the onion changes to golden brown colour.
- Now add carrots and potatoes.
- Sprinkle turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and a pinch of garam masala, required salt.
- Mix everything well and Cover/cook for 10 mins in a low flame or until the veggies becomes soft and mushy.
- Switch off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves.
- Serve it with steamed rice, sambar.
