- In a pressure cooker, add oil, add bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel seeds until it turns aromatic
- Then add onion and sauté well. Once onions start turning brown, add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté til the raw smell goes
- Add tomatoes and cook until they are mushy. Add all the spice powders like turmeric, chilli and coriander powder and sauté until oil separates from the mixture
