- Prepare all ingredients
- Mix well flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda
- Pour 2 Tbsp Oil and mix vey well, so that the oil incorporates totally into each grain of the flour

- Add the milk and water and mix well to make a sticky dough
- Now add 1 Tbsp oil and knead the dough for 8 to 10 min or until it becomes soft. By the word Soft I mean really soft but not sticky. If you press the dough it should again fluff off. See the pic below.
- Keep aside this dough covered for 60 to 120 minutes.
- Now take out the dough and knead for another 1 or 2 minutes.
- Prepare Average sized balls form the dough. We need to prepare ball bigger than how we do for roti.
- Take one ball and dust some flour on the rolling pad and roll the ball into a thick roti. Thickness shown below. In the mean time keep a tawa (thick Pan) on a high flame to pre heat.
- Now brush good amount of salty water (Salt + Water mixture) on one side of the naan.
- Set the gas flame to low and transfer the naan to tawa with it's wet side facing tawa so that it sticks to tawa. Add some chopped coriander and roasted seasame seeds on the top.of naan and very gently press it once.
- Cover and cook for 1 minutes at slow flame or until you see some bubbles.
- Now uncover the naan and cook until bubbles appears.
- Now take the tawa off flame and increase the flame to high. Invert the tawa and rotate the naan over flame. You will see bubbles developing on naan. Once the naan attains a golden colour it's face towards the flame, upright the tawa and take the naan out with the help of a splatter.
- Apply Butter to the top of naan and tadannnnnn your home maxe butter naan is ready to serve.
- Serve the hot naan with anything of your choice and enjoy. I served it with the fish masala that i prepared today itself (My Recipe No. 7)
