- Prepare the chillas. Take the grinded moong dal and add pinch of baking soda, jeera powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and ajwain. Mix well.
- Heat the pan and put oil on it and brush it all over. Once hot, spread the above mix and cover it and let it cook in low flame for 3 mins.
- After 2 mins turn the chilla carefully and let it's other side cook for 3 mins. Once it's brown remove and keep aside.
- Add the filing prepared in step 2 on the chilla and fold it into half.
- Serve it hot with the tomato chutney.
