The ingredients needed to make Sabudana-Raw Banana Cutlets:
  1. Take 1 Cup Sabudana
  2. Take 2 small Raw Bananas
  3. Get Handful Peanuts
  4. Take 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  5. Take 1 Green Chilli, finely chopped
  6. Prepare leaves Chopped Coriander
  7. Prepare Groundnut oil or Ghee for shallow fry
  8. Take to taste Salt
Steps to make Sabudana-Raw Banana Cutlets:
  1. Wash Sabudana 2-3 times and Soak by adding just enough water(to cover them) for atleast 4-5 hours(i prefer to soak it overnight).
  2. Boil 2 Raw Bananas(cut into half and with skin on) in a pressure cooker to 3 whistles. Dry roast a handful of peanuts and grind it coarsely. Keep aside.
  3. Peel boiled bananas and mash it. Add soaked sabudana, chopped coriander leaves, green chilli, coarsely grinded peanuts, Cumin seeds & salt and combine them to form a dough like we make for vada or pakode.
  4. Apply some ghee or oil and make cutlets of any shape. Heat oil or ghee in a pan (i used Groundnut oil). Cook them evenly on both the sides till crisp and golden brown. Serve it with yogurt or chutney of choice.
