- Give tadka to dal by keep 1tsp oil in a kadhai add mustard seeds and Cumin seeds, asafoetida and pour boiled dal add around 1.5 to 2 glasses of water add all spices give it a nice boil and after that add the dhokli prepared with wheat dough and let them boil for around 10-15mins.Garnish with coriander leaves.
- For dhokli dough: take a cup of wheat flour add 1tsp oil, 1/4tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp red chilli powder, salt and make a medium soft dough by adding required water to it.
- Now roll the dough into thin chapati or roti and cut them in diamond shape.
- Serve the Dal Dhokli as a single pot meal or with thepla, roti or rice.
