Add the cooking oil to the wok and also the black gram, fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds. Add the turmeric, salt and the tamarind concentrate.

  6. Add water tamarind and jaggery and bring this to a boil. Boil it well till you see oil floating on the gravy

Add enough water to cover the ingredients and continue to cook on medium fire. Now add chopped onions & green chillies and fry them until golden brown color. Add the chopped sorakaya pieces, turmeric, red chilli pwd & salt. Add the juice extracted from tamarind plus some water.
