  7. Take 1/2 teaspoon - fennel seeds(sonf)

  15. Make ready 3 green chilli - chopped
  16. Get 1 Tomato - chopped
  17. Take as required Coriander- chopped
  18. Prepare 1 teaspoon - salt

Like Shyama in Bengali, Moraiyo in Gujarati, Sanwa or Samvat or Swang ke Chawal in Hindi, Oodalu in Kannada, Kuthiraivolly in Tamil and Udalu in Telugu and Barnyard Millet in English. Generally I make a simple plain rice, khichdi and this pulao from Sama ke chawal. but you can also make Sama ke rice ki idli, Sama rice khichdi and Sama rice kheer recipe. Steps to make Sanwa ka upma:
  1. Firstly, wash sanwa in water properly.
  2. Then put 1 bowl sanwa in cooker and add 3 bowls water and boil it.after 3 whistle sound (sity) open it when it cools down.
  3. Then put 1 tablespoon ground nut oil in cauldron(kadai). And put peanuts(mungfali) in it till it get brown.
  4. Then put, Rai, jeera, hing,meetha neem, chopped tomato, green chilli in kadai.
  5. Now add common salt, haldi, kala namak, red chilli powder, lemon juice,sugar.
  6. Now put boiled sanwa in that gravy. And then put fried peanuts in that. Mix it well. Then spread well chopped coriander (dhaniya) in our sanwa.
  7. Now, our sanwa upma is ready to serve…
