- Prepare 3 big potatoes
- Take 500 grams frozen spinach, unthawed
- Get 1 glug good quality olive oil
- Make ready 1 salt
- Make ready 1 ground black pepper
- Prepare 1 italian seasoning
- Make ready 1 pinch chili powder

Instructions to make Spinach Purée:
- Peel and dice your potatoes. Put them in a big pot, completely submerged in cold salted water. Bring to a boil. Cook for about 15 minutes
- Then add your frozen spinach to the pot and bring back up to the boil. Cook for about 7 minutes
- Take off heat and drain. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder, a glug of olive oil and italian seasoning. Blend the spinach and potatoes into a creamy purée. Serve warm
Put the hot spinach into the container of a food processor and add the green onions, garlic, butter, salt and mustard. Puree spinach in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add water as needed to reach desired consistency; use breast milk or formula in place of water for a creamier texture. PREP No prep at all for baby spinach. For mature spinach, fold leaves in half lengthwise with the stem outside, then strip the stem off the leaf.
