- Firstly boil water in a pot to cook rice… add star anise, salt and peppercorns to it… boil rice in it and drain water. Keep aside
- In a wok/kadhai heat oil n add chopped ginger garlic n chopped chilles.. saute for 2 mins then add chopped onions fry till golden then add quartered cut mushrooms, yellow capsicum and baby corns (check pic for cutting). Saute for another 2 mins and then add salt, chili powder, chopped basil and coconut milk… cover lid and cook till the veggies are tender..
- Add boiled rice and mix everything well…. then garnish with some torn basil and chopped chilies.. serve hot
