This is a delicious twist to broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole, and is VERY easy to make. You can also cut this in half. You can also leave out the onion.

The ingredients needed to make Just Broccoli & Egg:
  1. Take 1 head (*about 300g) Broccoli *cut into small florets, thick stem sliced
  2. Prepare 1 tablespoon Oil of your choice *plus extra
  3. Make ready 1-2 pinches Salt
  4. Get 2-3 tablespoons Water
  5. Prepare 4 Eggs *lightly whisked
  6. Make ready Salt & Pepper
  7. Prepare Your Favourite Sauce *Oyster Sauce, Ketchup, Japanese Mayonnaise and Soy Sauce, or etc

Once boiling, add the broccoli (in the steamer basket, if it has a handle). Add the garlic and saute just until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic. If it starts browning, just take the pan off the heat and add the broccoli. Great way to make broccoli, however, it is a shame to throw out the stalks!

Instructions to make Just Broccoli & Egg:
  1. Whisk Eggs in a bowl and season with Salt & Pepper.
  2. Heat Oil in a frying pan, non-stick recommended, over medium heat, add Broccoli, Salt and Water, cover with a lid and steam-cook for a few minutes.
  3. When the Water is evaporated, remove the lid.
  4. Make a room in the frying pan, add extra Oil, pour the Egg and cook until just cooked. Combine the Egg and Broccoli.
  5. Drizzle with your favourite sauce and enjoy. *Note: For the above photo, I used a mixture of Oyster Sauce, Soy Sauce and Sesame Oil. For the photo below, I used Japanese Mayonnaise and Soy Sauce.

Peel the tough, woody green part off and cut the white inner stems into sticks which are then roasted with the florets provides a delicious, sweet and contrasting flavor.
