But please check your custard powder or nuts packing to be. basically custard halwa recipe is almost very similar to my previous recipe of karachi halwa or corn flour halwa. both share the same properties of translucent and jelly behaviour which makes colourful and attractive. perhaps kids would definitely love custard powder halwa recipe. having said that i would be very cautious while serving to them. this because of the corn flour can cause .
To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have custard karachi halwa using 8 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.
The ingredients needed to make Custard Karachi halwa:
- Get 3 Cups water
- Take 1 cup custard powder(Vanilla flavour)
- Make ready 2 cups sugar
- Get 1 cup desi ghee
- Prepare 1/2 cup cashew chopped
- Take 1 pinch elaichi powder
- Make ready 8/10 Pista (pistachio)
- Prepare 1/2 tablespoon Yellow melon seeds

Custard powder halwa recipe is one of the most easiest halwa recipes that you could make for Diwali or any special occassion. Its so easy and fool proof that even a beginner can try it out with confidence to get perfection.
Steps to make Custard Karachi halwa:
- Firstly,in large bowl take 1 cup custard powder and add 1 cup water. Don’t put whole cup of water suddenly. Put little amount of water and whisk well,make sure there are no lumps.
- Then,take a pan or kadai and put 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water and Switch on the high flame. When sugar gets completely dissolve then low the flame and add custard liquid slowly.
- Then the custard and sugar syrup gets murge then custard transform into chunks as shown in the picture. Make sure stir it from the bottom of the pan continously with the help of spatulla. It takes upto 30 mins.
- Add ghee by 2 spoons then mix it well. When all the ghee absorbs then add another.
- At last,add some cashews and elaichi power and mix it well and switch off the flame.
- Take a plate and grease it well and put the whole mixture and let it cool for 1 hr. Then cut it into a shape as you like and decorate it with some pistas and melon seeds.
The best thing about this halwa is that there is not. Custard Powder Halwa, a very easy sweet that you can make with very little ghee and unlike other sweets and halwas this custard powder halwa doesn't have any major consistency checks so its very easy for beginners as well.
