  16. Prepare 4 cloves Garlic
  17. Take 1 inch Ginger
  18. Get as needed Fresh Coriander
  19. Prepare 1 Green chilli
  20. Prepare to taste Salt

Potato Chop Aloo Tikki Recipe by Kitchen With Amna. Aloo Chop is a scrumptious snack recipe and extremely popular in Bengali cuisine.   1. Firstly take the potatoes cut it in to half and place in a pressure cooker..Cook it for 1-3 whistle.. Make sure that it is soft.. After cook drain the hot water from potatoes and remove the outer skin.. And mashed it properly..
  2. Take a pan.Heat 3 tbsp oil.. Add cumin seeds. Let it splutter.then add peanuts.. Saute it for 1 min.. Then add 2tsp ginger garlic and 2 tbsp onion paste.. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder,1 sliced tomato.. Cook it until the oil leaves from masalas.lastly add garam masala and saute it.. Then add mashed Potatoes and mix them well for 1 minute and turn off the flame.. Let them cool for few minutes..
  3. In the meantime let prepare the batter.. In a bowl add gram flour, pinch of turmeric powder, red chilli powder 1 tsp, ginger garlic paste 1/2tsp, baking soda 1 pinch, garam masala 1/2tsp(optional), salt to taste.. Mix them well by adding water to prepare a thick batter.
  4. Now,divide the masala,make it small size ball & keep aside. - Heat sufficient oil in a deep bottom pan,dip potato dumpling in the batter & drop carefully into the hot oil & deep fry it until it turns golden brown,drain it from oil & spread it on tissue paper to soak the excess oil. - Delicious "ALOO CHOP" is ready to serve.Serve hot with tomato chutney
