- Aloo Filling - Boil potatoes. Grate them. make puree of 2 tomatoes (medium). take a pan. add oil. add pinch of hing. add chopped ginger, garlic paste, chopped green chillies. add haldi powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder,dhaniya powder, tomato ketchup, tomato puree. mix them well. let the masala cook for another minute. add grated potatoes.add salt to taste.add 2-3 tsp frankie masala. mix them well. add 1 tsp chilli vinegar
- Now cook it till the masala is almost thick. let it cool. keep this masala in fridge for more binding.
- Now take pan/tawa.add 1/2 tsp butter with some oil. take half cooked frankie roti. put it on pan. cook it on both sides. donot let it turn hard. roti should be soft and not overcooked.
- Make long patty of aloo masala a the put it on pan. roast it from both side. put this roasted patty in centre of frankie roti. sprinkle chooped onion, few coriander leaves,1 tsp chilli vinegar, sprinkle some frankie masala. Wrap the roti to make it a roll. now put it on butter paper and wrap the bottom part of frankie around it.
