- Take 2 medium sized potatoes

- Prepare 1-2 green cardamoms

- Make ready 1 tsp jeera powder
- Get 1 tsp coriander powder
- Take 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- Take 1 tsp tomato ketchup
- Take 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Prepare 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp ghee
- Take 1/2 tsp sugar
- Take as per taste Salt
- Take as required Mustard Oil
- Prepare 1/4 cup cashew nuts (make a smooth paste)
Cool it, remove the skin, mash and keep aside. In a vessel take a little oil, add mustard and cumin for tadka. Raw banana Kofta Curry, Fried dumpling of Raw Banana/Vazhakai with Potatoes and Paneer in a rich and creamy curry. This is no south Indian version of north Indian Food.
Steps to make Banana kofta curry:
- Firstly, peel the banana and potato. Cut the bananas in slices, potatoes in cubes. Kerp in pressure cooker for 3-4 whistle. Switch off the flame. Keep for cooling.
- Now heat a pan, add 1 tsp oil. Add bay leaf, red chilli, panch phoron, cardamom, clove, cinnamom stick and saute for few seconds. Now add the onion paste, ginger garlic paste amd saute for 1 minute. Add turmeric powder, salt, jeera powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, tomato ketchup and saute for 1-2 mnutes. If require add 2 tsp water. Now add the cashew paste. Saute for few seconds, add water. Now add the koftas and ensure flame should be low.
- Now finely chop 1 onion and 2 chillies and keep aside. Make smooth paste of 1 onion and 1 green chilli and keep aside.
- Now take out the boiled banana slices and potato, smash together. Add corn flower, maida, chopped onion, green chilli, salt and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder. Mix well. Take a small portion and deep fry in oil. Continue for the remaining mixture. Keep aside.
- Now keep on low flame for hardly 1 minute, else koftas will be broken. Now switch off thr flame, add ghee. Transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with chopped fresh green coriander leaves.
