- Boil and drain the excess water.
- Heat oil on a medium flame.
- Dip each arbi in the batter and coat them well.
- Deep fry the arbi till the edges and sides are golden brown.
- Heat oil in another pan.
- Add chopped onion, ginger and garlic. Saute for 30 seconds on a medium low flame.
- Add soy sauce, tomato sauce, chilli powder, salt and sugar.
- Add water and stir well.
- Sprinkle some black pepper powder.
- Now add fried arbi and chopped celery. Stir.
- Serve hot.
