- Take 2-3 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder

- Take 1 black cardamom
- Take 1 lemon
- Make ready 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Take 7-8 garlic cloves
- Get 1/2 inch ginger
- Make ready 2-3 tsp kasoori methi
- Make ready 1 st Marination
- Make ready 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Take 1 tsp salt
- Prepare 1-2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- Take 5-6 garlic cloves
- Get 1/4 th inch ginger
- Make ready Main Ingredients
- Take 500 gm soya chaap in stick
- Get 150-200 gm fresh cream
- Get chaat masala as required
- Take 1 tbsp butter
Soya Chaap is basically made of soya bean and it mimics the texture of meat amazingly thus it a delicious treat not just for vegetarians but meat lovers too. Tandoori Style Soya Chaap Curry is a spicy dish where tandoori. Soya-Chaap,one of the favorites among North Indian Vegans. This is because it's texture is very similar to non veg,but it is purely veg :).
Steps to make Tandoori Soya Chaap and Malai Chaap:
- Preparing 1st Marination - Take soya chaap and remove the sticks. cut it into big pieces. add 1-2tbsp mustard oil, ginger garlic paste of 5-6 garlic cloves and 1/4th ginger. add 1 tsp salt. add 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder. mix them all creafully. leave it for 30 minutes.
- 2nd Marination - Roast spices(cloves, jira, black pepper corns, javitri, star anise, coriander seeds, nutmeg, saunth, cinnamon stick, black cardomom) on tawa. Let it cool. Grind them to make powder.
- Make ginger garlic paste of 7-8 garlic cloves and 1/4th ginger. Take a bowl and add curd. add 2-3 tsp roasted spices powder, salt to taste, 2 tbsp mustard oil, 1/4th tsp elachi powder,ginger garlic paste, 2-3 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder,kasoori methi. Adjust the colour accordingly by adding more red chilli powder. As we need the colour and less spicy taste, so we are using kashmiri red chilli powder. add 1 lemon juice. mix them all. add marinated chaap in this batter. mix them carefully.
- Cover the bowl. Keep marinated chaap in fridge for about 4-5 hours. You can either cook chaap in air fryer or at grill pan. preheat air fryer for 5 minutes. place chaap pieces in air fryer. cook it at 200 degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes. chaap is ready.
- Grill Pan cooking - Take a grill pan and let it heat on stove. place chaap pieces on grill pan. let it cook on grill pan at low heat. Turn the sides when it turns backish brown orange colour. cook it on both sides like this. chaap is ready.
- Now either you can serve the chaap like this only, with mint coriander chutney. For making malai chaap take a bowl, add cream, melted butter, and some chaat masala. mix it well. add few chaap pieces in the bowl and mix it. Malai chaap is ready.
