- Take 12 cashews
- Get 2 tomatoes
- Prepare 2 tsp butter/ oil
- Take 1 green elaichi
- Get 1 tej pata
- Prepare 2 cloves
- Take as per taste Salt
- Get as per taste Red chilli powder
- Get 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder
- Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 1/2 cup cooking cream

- After 30 minutes. Take a pan with 1 tsp oil. add chaap pieces to it and shallow fry it while curd releases water and water get absorbed by chaap.
- Take a bowl with hot water and dip cashews in it for 10 minutes. After that make a paste of onion and cashews. And tomatoes paste separately.
- Take a pan. Add oil or butter to it. Add green elaichi, Tej pata, and cloves to it. Add ginger garlic paste and onion cashews paste to it. Cook it for about 1 minutes. Add tomatoes paste to it and add all the spices to it. And cook it for about 2 minutes. (Remember cashews sticks very easily so make sure to be mix frequently.)
- Cover it with lid and cook it for about 2 minutes. Dont waste left over marination. Add it into gravy. Add ½ glass water and cook it for 10 seconds. Add chaap pieces to it and cook it again for 2 to 3 minutes. When ever they mix together nicely. Add cooking cream, kasuri methi to it and cook it for about 30 seconds. Now your soya malai chaap is ready to eat.
