Instructions to make Bottle gourd-coconut sabji:
- Peel and chop bottle gourd into medium sized pieces. In mixer, grind the coriander, coconut, green chilies, garlic and ginger.
- In a pan add oil, make tempering with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric and asafoetida. Add curry leaves and the mixture of coconut. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped bottle gourd, salt and mix well. Cook with lid. Put water on lid and cook for 15 minutes. Sabji is ready.
