- Prepare 1 tbsp kasuri methi
- Prepare 1 tbsp badam
- Get 1 tbsp besan
- Take to taste salt
The gravy- the gravy for gobhi koftas is very healthy and easy to make as It is made with blanched spinach ,tomatoes and cashews ground together. The gravy is simple yet flavorful. The gravy is poured over the prepared kofta's before serving. This cauliflower kofta curry goes well with steamed.
Steps to make Cauliflower kofta in simple gravy:
- In a bowl add cauliflower, potato, besan, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, green chilli, ginger,coriander mix well, make a dough.
- Make small balls of dough. Heat oil, deep fry the balls on medium flame till golden brown from all sides.
- Place them on absorbent paper.
- For gravy - put tomatoes, green chilli, ginger on jar & make a puree.
- Heat oil in a wok add jeera, haldi, coriander powder, red chilli powder, tomato puree.
- Saute it till it leaves the oil, add water in it, cook till boil add salt, garam masala, kasuri methi.
- Mix besan and water, make a slurry, add this in gravy (to make gravy thick) cover the wok, low the gas, cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the gas.
- Pour the gravy in serving bowl, add koftas in it.
- Serve hot with chapatis, rice
